An app for language learners to practice listening skills
To get familiar with the new sounds of a new language, you have to actively listen to it for hundreds of hours.
This website is created to help you practice listening easily and efficiently. There are thousands of ready-made recordings available, and you can also add your own!
Why focus on listening when learning a language?
Simply put, listening is the skill you will use the most. Think about how often you need to listen to other people in your daily life: conversations, school, TV, media... An average person spends around 45% of their time listening when communicating (30% for speaking, 15% for reading, and 10% for writing).
Listening is also the foundation for improving other skills. You see, babies develop listening skills for a few months before they start to babble. When you have good listening ability, you will know what is commonly said, and you can even correct your own speaking mistakes.
